Homeschool geography made easy: a 15-minute daily routine

Geography is often the subject that slips in a homeschool week: there is never time for a full curriculum, and worksheets do not stick. Fifteen minutes of playing on a real world map, most days, does more than an hour of copying capitals once a month.

A weekly rhythm

DayGame (10 minutes)Talk about it (5 minutes)
MondayCountry Hunt, one continent at a timeWhich countries are neighbours?
TuesdayFlag DuelWhat do the colours and symbols mean?
WednesdayCapital Quest or CitiesWhich cities are by the sea, and why?
ThursdayRivers & Lakes or Seas & OceansWhere does the river start and end?
FridayFind them all or Top listsPick one country to read about together

In the evening, a 5 to 30 minute bedtime story travels through countries, animals, food and wonders: a gentle review with the lights down.

Teaching several ages at once

In Team trip, each child picks a level (Little explorer, Explorer or Expert) and gets their own clue in the same round. The older one solves a riddle while the younger one finds a country by its name and flag, and whoever finishes first can help the other. Every country found also earns a clue to a final mystery country the family hunts together.

Beyond countries

Languages (hello and thank you in 44 languages), Famous people from every continent, Ancient Worlds, Peaks & Volcanoes, World Kitchen and Animal Homes turn geography into history, science and culture lessons.
